Please note 2nd semester Final Exam schedule for freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors not exempt from finals

May 18, 19, and 20, 2016, are 2nd semester final exam dates for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. 

Seniors not exempt from 2nd semester finals will take their exams on May 10, 11, 12. These three dates are required attendance days for seniors not exempt from finals.

WHS Varsity Band receives rave reviews at CICBF, and student Kathryn Dawdy plays her bassoon for a professional band!

The Varsity Band performed in the Chicagoland Invitational Concert Band Festival hosted by John Hersey High School on April 16. The Varsity Band was invited through an application process and performed for three judges of distinction in the collegiate and high school ranks. Pieces performed were San Antonio Dances by Frank Tichelli and Italian in Algiers by Gioachino Rossini. The band played wonderfully and represented WHS at a high level! The Varsity Band played so well that all three judges said that WHS Bands were "put on the map" in the concert band world as a band to watch out for in the future! This is a great step toward growing our program and elevating the level of performance in the band.

Congratulations, 2016 Board of Education PRIDE Award Recipients!

Congratulations to the graduating seniors who are this year’s recipients of the Woodstock District 200 Board of Education PRIDE Award.  The awards were announced at the senior honor assemblies at Woodstock High School and Woodstock North High School on April 28th. Awards were given in seven different categories which represent the qualities the Board believes the community truly values in its graduates: scholarship, personal achievement, vocational excellence, fine arts, community service, school service and athletics.
