Marianna “Mary” Nolan

Marianna “Mary” Nolan, 92, Harvard, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at the home of her daughter, where she resided for the past 15 years.

She was born May 17, 1922, in Pickrell, Neb., to William and Grace (Buhr) Kelley.

She married Daniel Nolan Sept. 6, 1941.

She was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Mothers Club, and she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons, David (Lorraine) Nolan, Harvard, and Jay (Sandy) Nolan, Harvard; two daughters, Marcy (Michael) McCullough, Juda, Wis., and Jeannie (Maurice) Palmer, Harvard; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Katherine (George) Fedoreu, Cherry Valley.

She was preceded in death by her husband March 14, 1975; her parents; a son, Michael Nolan; a daughter, Jolita Brooks-Miller; two grandsons, Daniel Nolan and Kevin McCullough; four brothers, John, Arthur, William and Herman Kelley; and a sister, Emma (Kelley) Elger.

Visitation and the funeral Mass were Dec. 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Harvard.

Interment was at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
