Marion I. Schreck, 91, Harvard, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at her home.

She was born Sept. 7, 1923, to Irving Joseph and Anna Mable (Wheelwright) Seaver in Harvard.

On Jan. 13, 1943, she married Warren R. Schreck in Woodstock.

She was a stay-at-home mom and a seamstress. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Harvard, the Memorial Committee of the First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Harvard Women of the Moose.

Survivors include six children, Dianne Marvin, Poplar Grove, Yvonne (Patrick) Browning, New Braunfels, Texas, Karolyn (Douglas) Childers, St. Charles, Edward Schreck, DeLand, Fla., David (Tara) Schreck, Columbia, S.C., and Kevin Schreck, Harvard; 13 grandchildren, Bradley (Donnanne) Marvin, Renee (Martin) Kamysz, Colleen (Thomas) Henning, Kenneth (Yolanda) Browning, Charles (Shelby) Schreiber, Beth Anne Mosier, Paul Mosier, Stephanie (Justin) Lutgen, Kathleen Megan Childers, Nicole Marie Childers, Tadj Kier Schreck, Syrene Rachel Schreck and Sonja Anna Schreck; eight great-grandchildren, Dane Alexander and Marley Kay Marvin, Lauren Renee and Megan Elizabeth Kamysz, Tyler James and Joshua Thomas Henning, Victoria Amelia and Kenneth Charles Browning and Saylor Leigh Schreiber; a brother, Francis (Joan) Seaver, South Beloit; two sisters-in-law, Edna (James) Nithman, Chicago, and Mrs. Clarence Schreck, East Detroit, Mich.; eight nieces and nephews; a grandniece; and a grandnephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 10, 2000; her parents; her grandparents; and a sister-in-law, Della Schreck.

Visitation and the funeral were Jan. 10 at the First United Methodist Church, Harvard. The Rev. Eric Blachford officiated.

Interment was at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
