Terry D. Fleshman

Terry D. Fleshman, 72, Indian Head, formerly of Harvard, died Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014, at Briar Place Nursing Home.

He was born Oct. 7, 1941, in Craig, W.Va., to Tony Orville and Zelda (Gillespie) Fleshman.

He graduated from Mountain State Baptist High School in 1960 in Alderson, W.Va. He then moved to Chicago and worked as a plasterer for Sun Electric in his early years. He loved working on cars, reading the Bible and the appreciation for nature.

Survivors include three sisters, Sharon Turner, Harvard, Barbara Camren (Kip Thomas), Sharon, Wis., and Margi Rotenberry, Florida; a brother, Carlton Ray Turner, Florida; nieces and nephews, Michael Tate and Robert Jr. (Jeanny), Bradley (Lisa), Becky and Beth Camren; and several great-nieces and -nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Zelda Fleshman-Turner; his step-father, Sherman Turner; a brother, Tony Fleshman; and a sister, Mellie Tate.

Services were held in West Virginia. Interment was in Wallace Memorial Cemetery in West Virgina.
