Ashley Arff, a graduate of Grant High School, Fox Lake, and Converse College, Spartanburg, S.C., has been named the varsity girls basketball coach at Harvard High School.

Coffman ramping up

Harvard High School junior Jeremy Coffman is hoping for a return engagement. Last fall, Coffman became the first Hornet boys golfer to qualify for the IHSA state tournament since the mid-1990s.
